COVID-19 Updates

Beginning 9/12/2020 we will resume our Trial Climb service and
Intro to Climbing Class on Saturdays and Sundays.
The Trial Climbs will be available Sat & Sun 12-6pm by reservation.
The Intro to Climbing class will be offered on Sat & Sun starting at 11am.
Reservations are still required, and you must call us to make a reservation.
Masks are required for everyone at all times in the facility, including while climbing.

Beginning 7/20/2020 we will allow day pass entry for experienced climbers.
Reservations are still required, and you must call us to make a day pass reservation.
Due to capacity restrictions, all day pass users must be at least 14 years old.
Gym equipment such as harnesses, shoes, and belay devices will be available.
Masks are required at all times in the facility, including while climbing.
We will not be offering Trial Climbs, classes, and some other services yet.
We will post an update when further services become available.

Please review the following requirements for entry and use of the facility:
If you are sick or are in a household where someone is sick, please stay home.
Use of hand sanitizer or washing your hands is required upon entry.
You will need to check out upon exiting.
All persons are required to wear a cloth face covering at all times (including while climbing).
We have hand sanitizer for use, as well as a small supply of low cost masks for sale (if you forget to bring one). Everyone must maintain proper social distancing of at least 6 feet.

Gym limitations:
Hours: M-F 1pm-9pm, Sat & Sun 11am-7pm to allow for additional cleaning.
A reservation for a 2 hour climbing session is required due to capacity restrictions.
M-F sessions begin at 1pm, 3pm, 5pm, & 7pm.
Sat & Sun sessions begin at 11am, 1pm, 3pm, & 5pm.

The bouldering area has markers laid out for social distancing guidelines.
Some top ropes are closed to increase social distancing space.
We encourage you to climb with only one rope climbing partner.
Lead climbing is not permitted during this time.

We are updating our temporary hours starting 6/29/20 to
M - F 1pm-9pm and Sat & Sun will remain 11am-7pm.
Still limited to current members (see below) and reservations are required.
Day passes, trial climbs, classes, and other services will resume in the near future.

We will be reopening on 6/19/2020 for current members only.
Current members include EFT members, Prepaid members, and 10-visit pass holders.
Day passes, trial climbs, classes, and other services will resume in the near future.

We closed on 3/19/20 and are reopening on 6/19/20, so EFT memberships will be restarted and the next billing date will be 7/1/2020. For Prepaid memberships, the unused portion will be restarted on 6/19/20. If you do not wish to return at this time you must contact us to make adjustments to your membership.

We’ve been hard at working preparing to reopen. We have been doing a deep clean of facility and resetting plenty of rope and boulder climbs. We’ve also been ventilating the gym regularly by the use of the large overhead garage doors. We will also be spray sanitizing the walls daily.

Like other organizations, we are taking steps to try to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). We have increased the cleaning frequency of the touchable surfaces, fitness equipment, bathrooms, front desk, and other common areas in our facility.

A frequent topic of interest is the cleaning / sanitizing of the climbing holds. Each time the holds are taken down, they are cleaned / sanitized before being put back on the wall. However, it is not feasible to clean every hold daily or in between each customer's use. So, it is important to wash your hands prior to climbing and immediately after you are finished. Anytime one is climbing they should be careful to not touch their face, eyes, nose, or mouth, as holds are used by a climber's hands and shoes.

The following are some of the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) for staying healthy and preventing the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) :

• Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
• Use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 70% alcohol if soap and water are not available.
• Avoid touching your face, eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands.
• Cover your cough or sneezes with a tissue or elbow.
• Avoid contact with those who are sick.
• Avoid handshaking, high-fives, and hugs – use other non-contact methods of greeting.
• Stay at home if you are feeling sick or have a sick family member in your home.
